You Can't Kill What Has Been Predestined To Live

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagle; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint; (Isaiah 40:31) I got this revelation during the summer of 2011, that Eagles loose strength flying low and is not safe at that low altitude. The height at which they must fly is directly connected to the speed at which they must travel and is already predetermined by their Creator. These birds are pregnant with purpose. We know the Eagle to be a very large, powerful, strong bird. It's a bird so strong that it can actually bear twice as much weight as their own body. So when an Eagle looses altitude, quite naturally, the bird's speed is also decreased until coming to a complete stop.
Today makes me even wonder more about what other revelation Isaiah may have had himself. What is the inference to be drawn from the text that we've been likened to Eagles? The analogy could not be more clearer to me right now. I often find myself carrying not just my burden, but that of others. After all, we're told in God's word to bear one another's burdens.

I understand also as a child of God, that not everyone is going to like me, love me, or appreciate me for what I do or the contribution that I make to society, at my workplace, in the church or closer still, in my own home - we know how family members can be at times. Even right here on this blog, everyone is not going to like all of my viewpoints all of the times, and that's okay. But then again, it's a my personal blog and I believe in the freedom of expression.

The point is though, I've come through a week of great trials. It's been to say the least, very tumultuous. The feeling this time around is different. It's Friday and I am left feeling like' my speed has been cut.' I feel like I've lost my strength. I feel like I've been 'pushed under the bus.'

But why would an Eagle loose strength? Going back to the revelation I told you I had last year, a child of God who's been likened to the Eagle, is not safe flying at low altitudes in the spirit realm and would loose strength because while hunters (people on a contrary assignments) would see pigeons or even the chicken, would feed them and nurse them back to health if they have to, instead of doing further harm to them; they are quick to shoot down with the intent to kill the Eagle from flying at a higher altitudes than they are. (hope you get this revelation and application for yourself)

But all for the glory of God, here are some other reasons of what causes an Eagle to loose strength and come to a complete stop:

  • Divine providence would allow such when God is about to shift the person into another dimension. Down time is actually your time of preparation.
  • Comes down for the purpose of birthing that which you were impregnated with.
  • To build more trust, hope and confidence in God.
  • To renew ones' strength before mounting up again. (Psalm 91:4)
  • When there is little or no prayer life. (Luke 18:1; James 5:16)
  • Not studying/reading the word of God. (2 Timothy 5:15)
  • When faith is replaced by fear and doubt. (Heb 11:1,6)
  • Not having a clear understanding of ones' purpose and of who you are in God.

But there is hope for those who are in need of help. First, you've got to hold on to the promise, despite whatever adversity that you may face. Holding on means being patient with God and waiting upon Him and His timing. God knows where you are today, He knows the difficulty and the challenges that you face. It is the mother's responsibility upon recognizing that her young ones/her children are in trouble, to do everything possible to take care of them.

It is her responsibility in the process of time, to come down low to the place where you are and scoop you back up again on her outstretched arms until you can fly again. She knows it's her job to keep you from falling and to ensure that you not grow weary in well doing, that you not faint and that you mount up on wings as Eagles do.

God shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all thy ways. Wherever you go, angels have the responsibility to protect you and to make certain that nothing harm you. (Psalm 91:11) "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy." Jude 24

When men are quick to judge you, to find fault with you and say all manner of evil about you falsely, God will present you faultless before the presence of His glory with great joy, not as one who has never been faulty, but He will present you as those who have been washed in the blood of Jesus, and under whose blood your sins are covered. The blood of Jesus has already spoken for you. You are predestined for greatness, and no one can kill what God has predestined to live."

    1. My dear sister and Salt of the earth, thank you for stopping by and sharing these kind words of encouragement. I am determined to wait it out on God. Impatience would cause me to bring an Ishmael when God really wants for us to have an Isaac. Blessings and love my friend!

  3. Amen!!! Thank you Yvonne and God bless you for this encouragement. I think i'm going through a spiritual low myself, not praying as i should, not even reading the word. And i'm a little anxious concerning a project i'm working on... But thank God all that doesn't stop me from being the righteousness of God in Christ. Indeed, no one can kill what God has predestined to live.

God will renew your strength, and you will soar higher than ever after whatever trials you're going through.
