With all the prophecies that have gone out on all our behalf, it is well that we wait with great anticipation for the future blessings, the promise of transformation and manifestation into our lives. And because it is God's nature and His character that He cannot lie, the prophecies will be fulfilled. The harvest that we await will come, which I must add, will be totally dependent upon the kinds of seeds that we have sown in time past.
But while we wait and not become complacent, it is expedient for us to prepare ourselves in this transitional phase and be reminded of this notable fact that God is really more concerned about the wellness of our soul than He is about the promised blessing. Hence, the reason once again for this individually post-marked invitation to each one that says, "Come now, let us reason together.." Lest we forget, there is an R.S.V.P inscribed upon it. It is a personal choice that each one must make whether to accept it or to reject it.
Notably sad indeed as I make mention of choice, is that the greatest malady ever to have affected the human race to which doctors have no cure, is sin, due to the poor choices and decisions that we have made at some point or the other in our lives. Even more disturbing is that those same poor choices and decisions are seeds, and based on the law of sowing and reaping, the harvest for them will come. God being merciful however, says "Come now..." "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." (Revelation 22:12, 17)
And lest we be terrified by our adversary who will try everything to deter us through some foolish reasoning from accepting the invitation, it is well to remember that Satan's power is not inherent but permitted for a short time only (Romans 13: 1; Rev.20:7-10) His power is not unlimited but controlled (Job 1:12; 2:6). It is not invincible, but broken (Luke 11:21-22) it is not assured of success, but is surely doomed. (Rev.20:1-3)
For healthy living, we must daily confess our sins.
Dear God we ask you to forgive us for our sins and for the times that we have failed you. We thank you for this opportunity you have given to us to turn through repentance and for the hope of salvation that we have through your Son Jesus Christ. May you grant to us your grace and your Spirit to draw the ones that need to be drawn into your presence and to answer call for salvation today, amen.
