Mothers Who Rock Series 1 - The Love Of A Mother by Annesha Daniel

A mother's love is something that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotions and of sacrifice and of pain.

It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may,
For nothing can destroy it or take a mother's love away.

It is patient, caring and forgiving when others are forsaking,
It never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking.

It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns,
It glows with all the beauty of the rarest gems.

A many splendour miracle man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hands.

Dedicated to all mothers, especially my very own mother Veronica Daniel.

I love you, and I say that you ROCK!

  1. Annesha...Wonderful poem as usual. You are gifted. It is so true that no one can explain a mother's love. A mother goes on loving her kids even when her back is against the wall, tears streaming down her face. When pain is in her body and it is difficult to move around, If she has to crawl to take care of her kids whe will. A mother is a fighter in the spirit, always praying for her kids, encouraging them and not giving up on them despite of.... Beautiful post Annesha.
