In the most difficult of times and in the midst of some of our most gravest circumstances, there is always a glimmer of hope, even when it seems like your faith is gone. At times both hope and faith are gone and things appear to really be falling apart. But God's Spirit lives within us, it is from Him we get the courage to move on. We brave the storms, and persevere, rather than giving up. We pick ourselves up, we dust off our hands and our knees and we press onward on life's journey.

WTWS 25 - Life Is Just Too Short To Sweat The Small Stuff
It is not quite what I had expected for my travel day. I knew in advance that travelling back to the Virgin Islands after my extended vacation, that I would have approximately five hours stay over at the Princess Juliana International Airport on the island of St. Martin. I mapped out what I thought was the perfect plan of how I would spend the hours. My time would be split into two.
Moment Of Inspiration - Quote On Life Lessons
We are all prone to mistakes in our life and when we do, there are those who are quick to respond through ridicule instead of helping you back up on your feet and giving you a kind word of encouragement. But never be discouraged, nor disheartened because buried within your past mistakes is your treasure - that treasure is your teacher that holds the lesson to some future plan of God for your life.

Single Mom Whose Son Was Born Out Of Wedlock, Snubbed By Winans' Perfecting Church
Editor's note:
Was deeply disturbed by this article below and the word that immediately resonated was this: Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder [stop] them from coming to me; for the Kigdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:13-14) EMB is not here to judge anyone, but will without prejudice, give voice to those who have been the subject of injustice and or discrimination. What would Jesus have done? Exactly as His word says.

The True Measure Of A Man's Character Is In The Valley
"You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so that you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it." ~ Maya Angelou
It is very easy for some to give up and say, 'that's it! no more!' when things are not going the way that they had anticipated. That is understandable, because not everyone can stand up to the test in times of adversity. Some persons tend to shrink back, to withdraw him/herself from among others, while they try to deal with the situation on their own. When faced with adversity, you are thrown into a valley. It gets very dark and cold in a place such as that. You go through varying emotions. You are tempted to throw in the towel and surrender to defeat.
Our Life Evokes Our Character
"Our life evokes our character and you find out more about yourself as you go on." - Joseph Campbell
I have always been passionate about life and equally, if not more so, enthusiastic about my goals in life. It is my passion to help others, to see them live meaningful and productive lives while they operate in true dimensions of power, thereby fulfilling their own dreams. While, I pursue this path through my blog and through other forms of social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Google plus, I am making some remarkable self discovery and is watching in amazement how my true character is unfolding before my very eyes.
I believe that any life lived below his/her true potential and a character that does not matriculate into what God has purposes and planned for it, is a life lived in vain.
I encourage you today to love truth, love honesty and love wisdom! It is this kind of attitude to life that will stimulate your creative ability so that you may begin to accomplish the things that matters the most.

Prayer Of Hope And Encouragement
Dear God we come with humble and grateful hearts in the name of Jesus. We are thankful for this day that our lives have been spared. We thank you for your sweet Holy Spirit and Comforter whose ever abiding presence has helped us through the day thus far. The world is marred and broken, and sin is rampant in nations around the world. There are places where men have become lovers, boaster and pleaser of themselves, and some through their own selfish desires and personal agendas have even resorted to shutting down the US government - leaving hundreds of thousands without an income to meet the bare necessities of life. But God!
Hope In God Was All That I Could Hold On To
Today I pause from my 'blogcation.' I can breathe a sigh of relief and I give all the glory to God for His goodness and His loving kindness. Life was certain to let me know that whatever plans that we make, we must count them as temporary, because no one knows what life truly holds for him/her. As I reflect on the week past, I recall too vividly my journeying moments in the valley of sickness. I remember the pain that rocked my body, the weakness in my limbs, the sadness and the feeling of loneliness and helplessness.
